OP, the opinions on handlebars vary as much as those about saddles.

Whatever works best for you should be what you purchase.

For my two cents, I have older bars with almost no ramps and classic drops, flat ramps with classic drops and shallow classic (round) drops. They work for me. My newest bike has the now popular shallow drop bars and they work great; especially since I'm not made of rubber.

I've got some ergo bars in the shed but haven't used them yet in a build; mostly because I don't like the looks of them. Holding them by themselves, they feel fine but the jagged look just doesn't suit me. (got them in a package deal on the cheap)


I agree with Warren128, the Nitto Noodles are great bars.
