I watched the Tour mostly on Eurosport Player and that wasn't perfect either. Sorme days my video was blacked out and other days there was no commentary, just ambient noise. Never did figure that out. I ended up watching the final stages on France 2's live stream which was low-res but reliable, and on the pirate feeds which were so blocky and stuttery that all I could see of the final sprint was that someone in a red jersey won the sprint in a stop action claymation sort of video.
