When I lived in a small town in North Dakota and I was never made fun off to my face, but I think people thought I was a little crazy. They would come up to me and tell me they saw me riding my bike 20 miles away from town and wondered how I was able to do that. I then bought studded tires for one of my mountain bikes to ride in the winter and that cinched it, I must be crazy. I had fun with it all.
