I never understood why someone would want a wing on their car, but to each his own.

Call an RV or boat store and find out how much a 1-1/4" receiver hitch ('accessory hitch') would be to install, and get a hitch mount bike rack. Trunk mounted racks are too often incompatible with cars that aren't a plain ol' sedan, IME. Hitch mount racks are more secure and just about any car you get (with some exceptions) can have a hitch installed. I am taking delivery of a Mazda5 this afternoon and a 1-1/4" hitch is the only option I had added to it.
