I've seen many topics where people ask for advice on a tight budget and everyone will mention Craigslist. Unfortunately I already dug around here for a while and didn't see anything worthwhile. So I've been looking online. I know mostly everyone here has high standards since this is a dedicated bicycle forum, but I'm not much of a hardcore enthusiast so please take that into account. I've actually been riding a cheapo Target mountain bike the past few years but it's time to move on, and I wanted something lighter and better for street riding. As long as it doesn't fall apart or require constant maintenence, I'll be happy.

So I wanted to ask if any of these would be considered a decent choice or if anyone here has any experience with them? I know these are cheaper than even Schwinns, which are often scoffed at themselves, so that may be a bad sign. The prices are hard to overlook though and they'll be ordered from bike stores, not Walmart or Target. The store reviews on most of them seem good as well but it's hard to find any info online on these odd brands.
