Thus part of the science of Ebay is to not get caught up in bidding, but to just place an amount that after shipping, is within the range you wish to pay for the item.
I've gotten 6.1 surround sound speaker sets, subwoofer and all for $200 shipped.....at the store they were $250. Last speaker buy was a set of yamahas that new went for $200 (used and has some minor cosmetic damage), $11 + 10 shipping.
You can get great deals if you are patient and do your research before bidding. The "$21" speakers were no longer availible, and are supposed to be used with a $280 amplifier/DAC unit...I saw that unit go for about $100 shipped....I was too broke to even bid on that auction at the time
