I don't remember the rim width being any different between the Bontragers and Vueltas on my bike, but you can adjust them wit the barrel adjusters, or just release the cable clamp and tighten it up if you're out of play in the adjuster.
Lol, nope. I did make sure to close them.

I may have knocked something during install or something and loosened them up I guess.
