None, as I'm a stainless Tubus fan myself
As for the Surly DT, you've got plenty of rack mounts on that bike.
No need for OMM whose speciality is for bikes without those mounts.
If you felt the need for a flat platform which Tubus doesn't offer on their lowrider front rack, you could add something like a Velo Orange Pass Hunter which, IMHO, go ok with some Gilles Berthoud stainless mudguards.
Of course YMMV - each to their own.
