If the bmx/skate style helmet is somewhat aero; and visors may, or may not, be an aid...a NUTCASE METRORIDE must be just about the perfect bike lid. I never cared much for Mtn bike helmets even when on a Mtn bike. The rack of ribs roadies wear is probably stranger than the lycra. I do like the new aero styles like the Giro Air Attack, but I still see a lot of ProTec in them. I probably look Uber Fred, or Uber Silly, in a ProTec Ace...but the line seems to be blurring more toward skatepark style all the time. I have yet to have an bee or wasp make it in thru a vent hole either. I do not want to ever have to deal with that scene. If ever I do, I WILL tape the holes shut. Blocking off ventilation is probably right in line with Rule V anyway.
