Well that's a bit rude !! Did you check if there's a single dirt trail continuing on.
Sadly the only thing that continued from there is a VERY narrow footpath through the brush (you can sort of see the dark opening on the left side of the end of the trail). No worries, though - I just turned around and went down the road for a while instead. Pretty bizarre it would stop without any warning, though!
