It's not just about saving to get the jersey, I tend to go through clothing at an alarming rate. Nothing seems to last long, so I see no point in getting something expensive. My gf bought a high end Rapha bib short for me, I didn't have the heart to tell her it might not last long lol! Sooooo long story short I rather get something affordable so if it tears or get gets rips I'll toss it without any pain.

Well I'll go check it out too but I'm the short torso, long leg variety lol!
