It doesn't have the ventilation of a road helmet but you will have to output less watts for the same speed so there will be a reduction in heat output.
But the watts saved from the helmet are not going to match up with the watts going into heating up your head from the reduced ventilation; it will still be hotter (I imagine noticeably) than a road helmet or even something like the air attack.
