Not for nothing but even when you wear stuff without ad logos, most companies make their brand name obvious on their gear now, whether it's Castelli or Pearl Izumi or whatever. And of course, you're advertising your bike unless you've removed all trace of branding. Not that I judge either way. I think it's great to see people out on their bikes and I could care less if they're riding in gym shorts or Lycra TdF kits or their local clubs or even if their pushing thei bike up hill wearing a polka dot King of the Mountain jersey. To each his own. Whatever you wear, rock the sh-it out of it. Do you and do you proud. 
