Sugoi Firewall Review or advice for cycling during the cold wet winter months

Recently purchased a pair of Sugoi Firewall tights for $79, retail $120, and completed my first ride in them yesterday. I got the patriot blue and feel like a freakin' superhero but after 45 miles, temp's in the low 50's and pouring rain...a happy warm superhero. Normal tights don't cut it here in Seattle at least not when its rainy and cold. I spent a considerable amount of time checking out gear and happened across the firewall tight. The front panel has a protective coating that helps block the wind and shed rain. Inside the tights are insulated and toasty, yet they breath really well. These tights are the most expensive peice of cycling clothing I own, but after yesterday's ride I know I spent my dollars wisely.
