There are folks that wouldn't mind seeing some enforcement on the VA side - especially the Mt. Vernon and WO&D trails, where double- and triple- passes at high speed before a blind corner are common.
Amen for W&OD. That's specifically prohibited and these UCI 'posers' (can't miss them with their wannabe event jerseys) must go well over 25 mph in three and four bike speed caravans. I've approached some pedestrians and recreational cyclists and had these clowns dodge around them and then cut across just missing me. If they were stopped my idea of a fine would be to confiscate their $1000 fraction of a gram saving wheels...like it really helps them!
