I have recently become interested in mountain biking and went on my first longish ride the other weekend. My chain started falling off and after a frustrating number of times, I finally noticed I had severely bent all three chainrings of the SR Suntour XCT V2 crankset and my bike was actively betraying me by throwing the chain off. I would like to know your opinion on what crankset I should replace it with. Obviously I could just buy the same one because the Suntour lasted me through probably 2 dozen shorter rides, but considering my weight (~275 lbs) I think it might be a good idea to upgrade to a stronger crankset. I don't really know anything about mountain biking or bike parts so any advice you could offer would be great. I would like to stay around 50-75$ but if there is something significantly more durable at a higher price I will definitely consider it. Thanks
