Thanks thumpism , correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't a french thread freewheel only be a problem if I were just changing the rims , keeping the existing hubs and at some stage in the futurelooking for a new freewheel ?. If I were to get completely new wheels I could get a new freewheel , they seem low priced .
