Joule 1.0 computer (by powertap/cycleops) - what is it good for?
This came with my powertap. It's new still in box. I'm trying to decide whether to keep it or sell it. It doesn't have GPS. I suppose it's probably HRM compatible, but did not come with its own HRM (I have my own). I guess it would track things like power, speed, cadence. Is there actually a market for these things? Does anyone use them? What utility do they have if you already have a garmin edge?
Am I missing something very cool about the Joule 1.0? Would the advantage be that they are smaller and more lightweight (I don't know that they are)?
The only thing I can think of is using it on a trainer where GPS doesn't matter and you don't have a garmin.
Any idea how much it might sell for? $50?
