Where they go when they die - you jogged an old memory and an internet axiom so I want to wax philosophical.

Remember the old Usenet? We may have thought that we were anonymous, or cloaked in obscurity, or at least those messages would eventually fade away. But they were all captured, archived and searchable. The modern Internet is still like that. Internet posts don't die, and the only thing transient about them is the illusion of anonymity. Someone has them, if not flagrantly like these guys but it's in some database or stored raw somewhere, just waiting for more connections and processing power to mold into something useful. Bike-air is just someone's playground but it serves to remind us of the underlying nature of what we're doing here.
