Thanks, I didn't realize that. Regarding the cable housing length issue, you are also exactly right. I like mine just long enough so that I can turn the bars all the way to either side without undue binding. No way I could raise my stem or even flip it without a cable overhaul. And if I dropped the bars, I wouldn't like the extra cable length.
