The above bolded is the absolute truth. I have been sleeved and am 7 months post-op. I just had a check up yesterday. I am 145 lbs. down with a gain of 33 lbs. of muscle. So essentially I have lost or converted over 178 lbs. of fat! But it is all from eating clean, following the program and exercising. To be successful long term I truly believe you have to change your old eating habits and make new ones that you can stick to. Too many people have had one bariatric surgery or another and have gained (if they even lost much) back what they lost or more due to never changing their eating habits. They think the surgery is a magic trick that will automatically make you skinny so you can eat whatever you want.
