cny-bikeman: That's actually what I'm trying to figure out.

The hubs are Gran Compe, the rims are H Plus Son Archetypes, and I don't know of a factory produced wheel with those components (I know there are factory Wheel Master Archetypes with Formula hubs out there, but I've not seen them with Gran Compes). The seller seems honest and trustworthy, but not very knowledgeable about his gear outside of name brand recognition. He bought these on eBay and said he never knew what the spokes or nipples were (and didn't seem to care much). He's checking to see if he can find the sale in his eBay record to see if they were mentioned in the listing.

The price seems good, just curious about their build quality/provenance. The only thing I don't like are that the spokes, hubs, and rims are black, but the nipples are silver/nickle.
