Here's the thing, people don't use them for a reason. Yes, Japanese Keirin racers use them...but only because they have to. Old style toe clip pedals are a pain in the arse to use compared to modern clipless.

There are a few guys that use them (like Babypuke here on BF (a Japanese Keirin student/racer)). But, 99.999% of other trackies do not. When in doubt, do with 99.999% of everyone is doing
