Maybe he can get the judge to reform the alimony award so he can afford some nice things for himself. I know a guy who makes good money but still wears clothes from the 80s and is generally cheap because his wife took him the cleaner's. She now lives in a nice house that he paid for, and he's got two kids that haven't finished college yet. Don't ever get divorced in New Jersey.
