Hello!

I am planning a bike ride down the pacific coast, starting from Seattle and hopefully ending at the tip of South America. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions of good routes for parts of the trip (say, Seattle to San Diego) or advice on places to avoid that might be dangerous, and how to cheaply avoid these dangerous places (by boat or bus, flying isn't a very feasible option with my gear).
