I use the Garmin 200. It was less expensive and that was my main factor on purchasing. On the bike it does what a good cycling computer does. Speed, Average and Time. It tracks splits and elevation and has a calorie count function (which is way too high). I can download to MapMyRide and have a running account of my workouts. It is also easily moved to different bikes. Battery life is great. I usually plug it in when I download my workouts each week and have never run out of power.

I do carry my phone with me and use it for emergency calls and occasional music.
