Antique Easy Ride Bicycle Made in USA
Hey bike aficionado's,
I have a garage find bike called an Easy Ride made in USA. It looks to be 40 to 50 years old and is all original except for tires as near as I can tell. It has a odd shaped Messinger 3 spring white seat on it the likes I've never seen before. It also has a Bendix 76 rear coaster brake hub from Mexico. Steel rims, galvanized spokes, and everything else you'd expect to see on a bike of this vintage. The chrome fenders, chain guard, and handlebars had varying degrees of rust on them but they all cleaned up near new with just a steel kitchen scrubber. I can't seem to find out much about the bike accept for a ladies model sold at auction last month in NY. The condition is really amazing considering it's age. Keep in mind I'm on the west coast so things here do typically demand higher prices than other places. I'm planning on selling it and I don't want to give it away. Thanks for any input you might have.
