A few years ago I mail ordered a DK General Lee 24 (no, not the walmart variant!). I rode BMX in the late 80s and couldn't stand not having at least one BMXish bike to cruise around the neighborhood with. I love the thing, and it has definitely stood up to my 240lb frame quite well. Sorry I don't have any direct advice on the bikes you named - but I just wanted to say go for it! I hope ya find something you like.
