tank slappers...and this ain't nuttin' about big booty.
I'm always in awe watching those pro's carving at speed in the mountains and then blowouts from heated wheels / valve stems. How some save it is amazing skill or pure luck.
Murdercycles~
Its 1986, and I buy one the very first GSXR-1100. All in the glory red, white and blue. Air, oil cooled and tight new piston / cyl. tolerances. Break-in requirements are HARD on the throttle baby! Maybe it was the second week in ownership, rolled on up to 140 but as I eased back, holy mo of all!
Major radical high speed death wobble! I actually had to roll back on the throttle and hope not to run out of road.
Gave me a fraction moment to figure how to save it. Ended up by DRAGGING both brakes ..... high speed high heat mind you.... and then slowly back off throttle. Back to the dealer it went. Urgent recall notice: re-spec and tighten headset. Thanks guys for making these toys!
