I've been given the green light to convert our junk room into my "man cave". I'm looking for a junk road bike to put on the wall.. I plan on painting it one color, similar to ghost bikes (all white), but this one will be all orange with blue tires (Florida Gators, Go Gators!). I thought I would have an easy time finding a very inexpensive (< $50) junk (rusty, non-working) road bike i.e. thrift shops, garage sales, etc., but I've been looking for a couple of weeks with no luck! Everything I've come across has been working bikes with the seller asking $150+. I would hate to buy a working bike just to use as wall decorations. Any suggestions of places to contact/search would be greatly appreciated. For PA locals, I live NW of Philadelphia in Montgomery county willing to travel within a 75 mile radius of Philly, give or take a few miles...
