So it's been a long time since I have messed around with bikes - I have a bunch hanging in my garage, but the market to buy and repair has pretty much dried up. I say pretty much, because just the other day I was at a convenience store, and I noticed an incredible bicycle chained up outside. I went in to look around, and only found two old guys playing video slots. I speak a fair bit of Spanish, so I asked whose bike it was, and quickly made a deal to buy it for a crisp C note.

What did I buy? How about a 1978 Peugeot Super Competition.



I have already spent the day cleaning it up, and have some new hoods and bar tape for it.

Sadly the saddle is long gone, so I found an Ideale on ebay.
