Even Shimano's long cage Ultegra rear derailleur is still only rated for a 28t low cog (the longer cage is for more chain takeup with the triple crank), so that won't help your quest to fit a larger cassette.
Flip the B screw and it will work fine, I used this setup - 5700 RD (GS) & SRAM 11-32 10 speed for a few thousand Km over the last few years with no issues.
