The early bird cost of $145 for the solo 200 isn't really a bad deal at all. The jersey you get as a finisher is worth $50 alone. The extra cost for the Rando division is probably to cover the costs of an official and their transportation to "shadow" the Rando riders while on course.

I raced in the Daytona RAAM Challenge 400 a few years back and really enjoyed it. It's too bad that they seem to be winding down the series.. They dropped the Florida and several of the other races over the past couple of years.
