So I'm about to buy my first higher end bike and after some research and consultations with some knowledgeable friends I decided the 2015 Norco Search S1 would be the ideal model for my needs. Problem is they seem to be sold out in all local bike shops and Norco has discontinued it.

Looking for some comparable alternatives. Can anyone provide some models from different brands that would offer what the Search S1 offers in the same price range?
