The idea that you can save a lot of money buying a factory built, butted wheel of known components from a manufacturer of such integrity that their choice of brands and techniques, could never be questioned (like cut vs rolled threads), and then own all the tools to do a little prep yourself, and save money, sounds a little fantastic.
