I keep an eye out at every intersection I cross, even the ones where I have the right of way. The way I see it, most people aren't very careful behind the wheel, and I'd rather slow down or stop before one of these guys hits me.

If I am not attentive and someone hits me, even if I was 100% in the right, that seems like a small consolation if I end up seriously injured.
