I have one on a campy nuovo record bottom bracket on my Vitus...the mavic bottom bracket required reaming the threads out of your bottom bracket shell and press fitting as I recall - a very good way to ensure that you always used replacement mavic parts thereafter. They do look cool - and somehow in sync with that snazzy tinker toy rear derailleur...
