I used to play in a men's league for hockey when I was flight instructing, then I blew out my meniscus, ACL, and MCL, and left that all together when I got my current job flying a private jet and rich people around. That's when cycling came into play. Now it's: boating, fishing, grilling, working out, hanging out with family and friends, and swimming.
Cycling is my main exercise so I take it pretty serious. Next year I'd like to go from the Tuesday group rides to Thursday, which is the advanced ride group averaging around 25mph and around 35-45 miles, then enter a race at some point.
