When I created this thread all those years ago, I never would have thought it would have gotten this big or become such an iconic resource.
Here is my newly built Merckx Strada OS 97/98 model.
I build her with a Centaur 10 speed groupset and matching Vento wheels.
Finishing kit it Deda Piega, 3T and Thomson.
Brooks C17 saddle, Look pedals, Elite cages round her out.
Looks fresh. I am a fan of how the wheels you chose are subtle but still have some pizazz as well. I'm hoping that soon I'll be posting a couple pics of what this thread has inspired me to work on this summer, I still haven't seen all of the pages...so great to see all the builds everyone worked on.
