I ride alone
On a winter's day
In a deep and dark December.
I used to ride in the afternoon
With Cecelia up on my Lemond,
But I left for a business trip,
When I come back to town someone's taking my place.
Now I find that cyclng alone
Calms my soul
Like a bridge over troubled waters,
I will ride downtown.
