Thanks all!

Thanks to this group for all the good input. I did the ride yesterday, and it was a success.

It actually didn't end up being a 400K or 15K climbing. The route that I routed out in Strava did though. In real life riding it the Garmin said 225 miles, and 13K' I did change the route somewhat mid ride, bit this definitely didn't knock off 25 miles from the ride or the elevation. Something must be off somewhere. It took me 16Hrs 27 min door to door. Riding time of 13 Hrs 39 min. Ave speed of 16.5, and ave HR of 135. I don't know about watts as I done use power.

Everything worked out very well, just continuos eating, drinking, and peddling. I had about 6 stops total. Some of these were as short as a couple min while I filled up some bottles. I did have 2 stops that were 45 min-1 hour. It was a little hard to get going after this, but made for some nice relief getting my shoes off for a little bit. I liked starting off in the dark, and getting the night riding over with as soon as possible, and as fresh as possible. I was able to finish the ride before sunset.

Regarding fluids: I had 1 fuel bottle (Perpetum) and 1 water bottle. This was not much water in the heat of the day. Any suggestions for carrying a 3rd bottle? I do not have 3 sets of mounts, or even enough room for a 3rd bottle in the traditional spot.

Thanks again!
