I'm heavily considering the 10-42 CX-1 setup for a bike at the moment...
Rohloof is significant bucks & weight...but pretty damned impervious as I understand it...
If you're going to be "Out there," I'd go Rohloff...I've whacked way too many hangers and rear derailleurs.
