Heya,

I'm ordering my bike today online that will take me on my next trek. I will mainly be on paved roads, but also some dirt/a variety of stuff. With my panniers and bag, I'm looking at a loaded weight of round 20 kilos.

The bike that I'm about to order has 700c x 28 wheels...is that too thin?

My boyfriend is replacing his wheels for 700c x 35 and said mine are too thin. I think the problem is that here in Latin America, 28 is quite hard to find.

Ideas?
