I am subscribed to a bicycle touring group on FB and saw this come through today:

The rider hasn't posted the cause or situation so far, she's just looking for a quick replacement to get back on the tour.

Edit: Said rider is 145 lbs with 50 lbs of gear.

This seems like the nightmare carbon failure. How often does this happen?

(Coincidentally, I just saw this after dropping my bike off at my LBS to get a stress test done on my 6yo carbon fork)
