I think yes. Since last May when a colleague started riding for Bike Month, we've been doing more or less weekly rides on weekend mornings. Before, I would have spent this time on a dog walk.
OTOH I've been taking every opportunity to take dog walks with the baby in his papoose on evenings of days I couldn't ride.
