I always get a kick out of the Velominati rules as they are so tongue in cheek, though I suppose there are folks who take them seriously. I do like rule V as it seems to apply to so many aspects of our current society. That's the one that comes to mind most.
As to the Riv rules and numerous other lists - I find them all useful, get bits of something from them all. They are like a Piggly-Wiggly though: I don't buy everything in the store, just what I need at the time. And just like Wawa, my cart is unique, does not look just like what everyone else has selected.
(Ya'll know 'bout Piggly-Wiggly and Wawa doncha?)
