Oh man. Riding through that tunnel is pretty grueling and scary. I couldn't imagine running through it. I guess there will probably be a couple thousand other people running it, though. Do the put headlamps in the registration packets?
When she was reading about it, it didn't sound fun. If I remember correctly, after the start you go about a half mile, then into the tunnel. The tunnel is about 3.5 miles long and not lighted. They recommend that you bring lights.
Did I mention running is stupid.
