Picked up this 86? Gitane Champion at the university bike sale over the weekend. Yes, I chopped the bars, and for that I am sorry. Pretty sure they weren't original anyway. Even though these were the bottom of the line, it is still the smoothest riding bike I have ever owned. This thing is awesome! Gonna keep it like it is I think...
