Eventually we make it to Hot Springs where we will stay the night. On the outskirts of town there is a truck parked along side the road with a volunteer handing us cold cans of beer to drink as we ride into town. Our ride ends at the Alamedas Resort. I count my lucky stars
That night we dress up and have a communal gourmet dinner on the lawn. The wine flows, announcements are made and folks drift off to do their own thing.
I watched the movie “American Flyers” projected on the wall of the resort for a while then mosey over to the Symes for a soak springs before turning in for the night.
