Actually, a 7-speed hub with an additional 4mm on the NDS to build up the OLD to 130mm would make for a fantastically robust wheel. The wheel dish would be close to symmetrical, so you wouldn't have the usual tension imbalance. And the stock 137mm axle would be long enough to do the job if you recentered everything. Just a thought.
