Well, now that we have the 600 hubs all figured out (thanks guys), it turns out the frame I am using is spaced at 132.5mm. So....I am thinking that stuffing an old converted 7 speed 126mm hub in there is not going to be the best plan. Still looking, but new requirement: 28 holes, 8/9/10 freehub body but now it needs to be in 130 spacing.

Actually, a 7-speed hub with an additional 4mm on the NDS to build up the OLD to 130mm would make for a fantastically robust wheel. The wheel dish would be close to symmetrical, so you wouldn't have the usual tension imbalance. And the stock 137mm axle would be long enough to do the job if you recentered everything. Just a thought.
